Primary Health Care

The primary health care is provided by a medical brigade, which consists of a primary health care doctor and a primary health care nurse and/or assistant of the doctor. These days, family doctors, paediatricians and interns can work as primary health care doctors.

A family doctor provides a patient with information concerning the primary health care services provided by family doctors, the procedure for receiving those during the given family doctor’s working hours, beyond the working hours and in case of doctors’ replacement or substitution, as well as provides with information concerning opportunities to receive other health care services.
